Prayers for Impossible times. Sometimes in life we find ourselves facing unprecedented times. As we grieve climate change, religious, and political decisions and increasing wars, famine, and violence we need prayers that help center and ground us in these moments. Here is one such prayer.

Sometimes life and loss and longing and love are more than our words can contain. As you face the holiday season, let this prayer, punctuated by silence, help you hold and carry the fullness and the emptiness of life.

Ministers and lay leaders do much and care so intensely. They could all use some appreciation. Share this prayer and blessing with your minister to thank them in worship or another group gathering.
